With no prior cattle-handling experience and limited space to work with, Highlands proved to be the perfect fit. We dove headfirst into learning everything we could. We spent countless hours researching genetics, nutrition, animal health, and connecting with knowledgeable and reputable Highland breeders who generously shared their expertise and helped guide us in the right direction. In the fall of 2024, we welcomed our first Highland calves to the farm, marking the beginning of a brand new chapter.
